Annual Events
Summer Picnic
The picnic is MCPOM's biggest annual event. It is usually held in early June in a local park. Past picnics included a catered lunch, a clown/balloon maker, a ride on the train, and crafts. This is a great opportunity to meet and socialize with other parents of multiples.
Halloween Costume Party
Every year MCPOM hosts a Halloween Costume Party. Both children and adults are encouraged to wear their costumes and enjoy games, activities, and treats. Prizes were awarded for the most creative adult costumes and pizza and treats were provided.
Semi-Annual Consignment Sale
The consignment sale is held in the spring and fall. It is a great opportunity to sell the old things you no longer need and get a great deal on the new things you now need. The Fall Sale is being held at Juluis West Middle School in Rockville on Septembner 29th. The Spring Sale is being held at the same location in March 2008. Click here for more information.
Meet-and-Greets
Our general meetings are called “Meet-and-Greets” and are generally held on the last Wednesday of the month, September through May. The meeting locations vary with different meeting topics. Please check the calendar tab for location information or contact mcpom@mcpom.org for meeting details. Nonmembers are welcome to attend our Meet-and-Greets prior to joining MCPOM. Upcoming topics include Meet the Club, Estate Planning, Speech and Language Development, Party Planning, and more. Past topics have included Preschool Fair, School Placement, a Multiples Panel, Car Seat Safety, Traveling With Multiples, Ice Cream Socials, Craft Fair.
