  • Oversee the management of MCPOM
  • Responsible for the general supervision of the affairs of MCPOM.
  • Serve as the official representative of MCPOM.
  • Convene the monthly meet and greets and board meetings.

  • Draft monthly president’s message in newsletter.
Vice President

  • Assist the president in the management of MCPOM.
  • Assume the responsibilities of the president in the absence or inability of the President to serve.
  • Shall monitor and respond to inquiries made to the MCPOM club phone.
Treasurer
Cherie Rosenblum
  • Manage the finances of MCPOM.
  • Responsible for all funds and securities.
  • Prepare and maintain the annual budget.
  • Present the budget to the board for approval.
  • Ensure that proper financial records and procedures are maintained.
  • Assist with fund distributions for the clothing and equipment sales.
  • Deposit all monies and other valuable property of MCPOM in the appropriate bank.
  • Prepare budget updates for presentation at each board meeting.
Membership Vice President
Heidi Crabtree
  • Responsible for maintaining MCPOM's membership records on Big Tent
  • Oversee the enrollment of new members
  • Serve as clubs representative to NOMOTC.
  • Report new member listing to NOMOTC each September
  • Send new members welcome emails over viewing club activities and support functions
Secretary
Lisa Swatland
  • Responsible for the keeping of an accurate record of the proceedings of all meetings of the Executive Board.
  • Prepare minutes of the board meetings.
  • Oversee MCPOM correspondence and maintain copies of all club correspondence.
  • Draft correspondence as requested by the Board.
Newsletter Designer
Brooke Divita
  • Responsible for formatting and publishing newsletter.
  • Work closely with the newsletter designer to transform outline in newsletter layout.
  • Post newsletter on Big Tent.
Newsletter Editor
Melissa Ford
  • Serve as the central point for all incoming newsletter articles and columns for the monthly newsletter.
  • Outreach to club members and board members to develop ideas for newsletter articles.
  • Collect all information and format it (data received from membership database often needs to reorganized) in accordance with template worked out with newsletter designer.
  • Work closely with the newsletter designer to transform outline in newsletter layout and eventually publish.
  • Coordinate with Advertising Director to ensure that appropriate ads are in place.
Program Director

  • Responsible for planning the monthly “Meet and Greets” and periodic Parents Nights Outs.
  • Arrange for and coordinate with speakers.
  • Inform and invite MCPOM members to meetings and events.
  • Seek out new ideas for meeting topics and parents night out events.
Sale Directors

  • Responsible for planning and execution of twice annual clothing and equipment.
  • Oversee sale captains.
  • Secure location for sales and coordinator of MCPOM volunteer to work the sale.
Parliamentarian

  • Advise the Executive Board on correct parliamentary procedure in accordance with bylaws and operating procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining the MCPOM bylaws and suggesting amendments as necessary.
Social Directors

  • Plan and execute the four main MCPOM Social events: Halloween Party, Holiday Party, Winter Social, and Picnic.
  • Secure location and amenities for each event.
  • Inform and invite MCPOM members to events.
  • Solicit additional assistance for set up and clean up of events from MCPOM members as appropriate
Mid Atlantic Delegates

  • Represent MCPOM at MAPOM functions.
  • Keep club informed of MAPOM activities, including convention
  • Attend 2 MAPOM meetings a year located in Fredericksburg, VA (usually Oct. and Feb.)

Advertising/Publicity Director

  • Oversee the advertising program in MCPOM newsletter and on website

  • Invoice advertisers and receive payments.
  • Solicit new advertisers as appropriate
  • Outreach to local hospitals, fertility clinics and social organizations regarding MCPOM

  • Oversee and coordinate all of MCPOM support functions.
  • Work with each of the coordinators responsible for the individual support functions (bedrest, NICU, etc.)
