We are honored to have Cindy Pena as our Keynote speaker for this year’s convention. Cindy has a wealth of experience in covering local, national and international news. While she covers issues and events throughout the Washington Metro area, she is also the Maryland reporter covering the Maryland General Assembly.
Cindy is also the proud mother of 3 children, including identical twins that are 12 years old. Two days after Cindy’s twins were born she was diagnosed with cancer. She went through chemotherapy in their first 6 months of life. I’m sure we will be inspired by her story.
