Welcome to Montgomery County Parents of Multiples
Montgomery County Parents of Multiples (MCPOM) is a volunteer group that provides both support and social activities for its membership. The purpose of the club is to benefit the membership by exchanging ideas; sponsoring children's clothing and equipment sales; and providing varied educational and social activities. It will assist and support membership and other families of multiples. It may pursue charitable efforts when agreed upon by the membership.
MCPOM is non-discriminating and welcomes families in Montgomery County, MD, and Washington, DC, with twins or higher order multiples of any age to be a part of our growing family. Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of the month at 7:30 pm, September through May. The meeting locations may change each month with the focus of the meeting. Please check the calendar tab for location information or contact email@example.com for meeting details. Social activities and playgroups are planned throughout the month.
Club dues are $36.00 per 12 month period. Your membership will expire one year after your membership is initiated or renewed. If you have (or are expecting) multiples, click here to join.

The Guide to Montgomery County PreschoolsIn December 2008, the Montgomery County Parents of Multiples organization published a comprehensive guide to preschools in the Montgomery County area that is a must-have resource for any parents beginning their preschool search. This 80-page guide contains detailed information on 250 preschools in Montgomery County (and a few in nearby Washington, DC) including program offerings, affiliation/teaching philosophies, admission priorities and processes, interview requirements, tuition rates, application fees, sibling discounts and application timelines. Schools are listed alphabetically but are also cross-referenced by geographic area and philosophy or affiliation. In addition, the guide contains important and helpful information on different types of preschools, steps in the preschool search, questions to ask during visits to preschools, practical advice from parents who have gone through the preschool search and how children can best prepare to enter kindergarten.
